The purpose of this communication is to provide a status update and highlights for any interesting subjects from the Ubuntu Server Team. Spotlight: Ubuntu Server Office Hours

As proposed, the Ubuntu Server team will now host weekly office hours in the #ubuntu-server IRC channel. The Canonical Server team will be present during these office hours to discuss and work-through any questions or bugs about Ubuntu Server. The office hours will replace the previous structured IRC meeting, but continue to occur at the same time: Tuesdays at 1600 UTC.

cloud-init

  • All integration tests now function with the nocloud-kvm backend
  • Fix apport for cloud-name options (LP: #1722564)
  • Improve warning message when templates aren’t found (Robert Schweikert) (LP: #1730135)
  • Perform null checks for enabled/disabled Red Hat repos (Dave Mulford)
  • Fix openSUSE and SLES setup of /etc/hosts (Robert Schweikert) (LP: #1731022)
  • Catch UrlError when #include’ing URLs (Andrew Jorgensen)

curtin

  • Completed SRU of revno 532 (LP: #1721808)
  • Fixed common test infrastructure issues causing frequent CI failures (LP: #1655842)
